So we purchased a share in a bloody racehorse.

Well, what a champion he’s turned out to be

Unbeaten after his first three!

Names like Frankel and Black Caviar might ring a bell

Now add Lord Aspen to them as well.

Getting a little ahead of myself some of you may think

But I’ll tell you what happens when I have a little drink.

Relaxing in my chair barely half awake

I start dreaming of Lord Aspen winning next year’s Cox Plate!

But in reality he’ll just be at Flemington in the spring

So I’d have a little wager if he has a Howlin' Gale blowing up his ring!
